CamelBak Eddy Compatibility, Cleaning, and Care

CamelBak Eddy bottles are known for their leak-resistant bite valves and carry handles, but replacement parts and cleaning are common questions. The original Eddy and Eddy+ use the same cap and straw assembly, so many parts are interchangeable. Eddy+ adds a carry loop and a slightly wider body. For lids, check the cap compatibility: the Eddy+ cap fits the Eddy bottle, and the Chute Mag cap fits both. To clean, take apart the cap and straw and wash with warm soapy water; avoid the dishwasher for the cap to keep the seal. If your bottle smells, use a CamelBak cleaning tablet or a baking soda solution. For winter, keep the bottle from freezing by using an insulated sleeve or storing it upright.
