Find two sturdy trees about 12–15 feet apart. Unfold the wooden spreader bars and insert them into the sleeves at each end of the hammock. Clip the included ropes around the trees using the adjustable loops, then tension the hammock about 18 inches above the ground. Always test the setup before climbing in.
