KingCamp Self-Inflating Camp Mat: Insulated Comfort for Cold-Weather Camping
The KingCamp Self-Inflating Camp Mat is a double-wide sleeping pad designed to keep you warm and comfortable when temperatures drop. Its self-inflating foam core and two-way valve let you dial in the perfect firmness for your sleeping style, while the durable outer shell resists punctures and abrasion. Whether you’re in a tent or the bed of your truck, this mat provides a stable, insulated base for a great night’s sleep.
How to Inflate and Deflate the KingCamp Self-Inflating Mat
Open the valve fully and the foam will expand automatically, drawing in air. For faster inflation, give it a few breaths. To adjust firmness, close the valve and add air as needed. To deflate, open the valve and fold the mat from the foot end, pressing out air as you go. Close the valve when rolling to keep it compact.
R-Value and Insulation Performance
The mat features a 2-inch thick foam core with an R-value of 4.4, providing reliable insulation from cold ground. Layered with a heat-reflective film, it traps your body heat and blocks the chill, making it suitable for three-season camping and even early winter trips.
Storage and Care for Long-Lasting Performance
After each trip, inflate the mat slightly and store it unrolled with the valve open. This prevents the foam from compressing and keeps it springy. To clean, wipe with a mild soap solution and air dry. Avoid storing in direct sunlight or extreme heat.
Repairing a Hole in Your Mat
If you get a puncture, use a repair patch (sold separately) on the outer shell. Clean the area, apply adhesive, and press the patch firmly. For larger tears, consider seam sealer. With proper care, your KingCamp mat will last for many seasons.
Double-Wide Comfort and Portability
Measuring 76 x 26 x 2 inches when inflated, this mat fits two average-sized adults or one spacious sleeper. It comes with compression straps that reduce its packed size to 28 x 8 inches, making it easy to store in your car. Perfect for basecamp, car camping, and truck bed setups.
