Open the valve fully and the foam will expand automatically, drawing in air. For faster inflation, give it a few breaths. To adjust firmness, close the valve and add air as needed. To deflate, open the valve and fold the mat from the foot end, pressing out air as you go. Close the valve when rolling to keep it compact.
