How Does the Osprey Firn Ski Lasso Work?

The innovative, ambidextrous ski lasso system lets you stow skis on the pack without taking it off. Simply lasso your skis through the loops and cinch them down; the system secures A-frame style or diagonal carries. When not in use, the lasso can be removed or tucked away.

Alpine-Specific Features

Designed for backcountry skiers and snowboarders, the Firn 18 includes a snowshedding backpanel, one-handed direct-access crampon pocket, space for avalanche safety gear (shovel and probe), a goggles pocket, and a dedicated pocket for a hydration bladder or soft flask. The vest-fit harness includes easy-access pockets for food, headlamp, or tech.
